Saving Private Ryan

I really enjoyed Saving private Ryan, because of the action it brought and how realistic it all seemed to be. The book explains that as technology increases so does the realism that can be created in a movie, which creates a here and now excitement. I thought some parts were a little to gory, but it also gave the move life, because they were not trying to hide anything from what happens at war. The director did a very good job keeping it a mystery, because once you thought they would reveal the plot there would be another twist. It was also nice that not only was it an action movie, but it was also very sad. Watching this movie gave me more respect for what our soldiers do to keep our freedom. The book explains that this is moral implications, which are films that take a moral principle and then persuade us apply the principle to our own lives. I really enjoyed this movie, but it is not a movie I could watch over and over again.
